The Legacy of Atlantis (CD)
The Legacy of Atlantis (CD)
A magician from Atlantis, reborn in medieval Italy. Three members of Therion on board. The album we carried through 59 shows in 26 countries in 2018.
The Legacy of Atlantis is a concept album: an occult story told across nine songs and sung in character. Aor is Avva Rama, Jane is Horacia, and Thomas Vikström of Therion is Cardinal Gregory.
Therion's Nalle Påhlsson plays bass and guitars and Christian Vidal plays lead guitar. Andrey Ishenko of Arkona is on drums, and Sergey Lazar of Arkona recorded, mixed and mastered it. The artwork is by Jan Yrlund, and Jane designed the costumes.
It went on to sell thousands of copies and pull millions of streams and YouTube views. The title track and And I Shall Find My Home were both still in the set when we recorded Live in London in 2024.
